The bait of choice today was goig to be the Savage Gear Rattle Shad again. BUT..I'm fresh out. Seems that on the first couple of casts something big had other ideas and really wanted that lure...so it ate half of it. I resorted to using a Lucky Craft Pointer. Same retrieve as I outlined before. Slowly reel it in and twitch twitch twith 2 times per second without pausing.
Total was 7 bass and 2 greengill sunfish in the 1pound range. Not a great evening. We had to hit 3 different areas to scrape that up.
